Audio Technica AT2020 : Overview

It is an entry-level Studio Condenser Microphone that does require 48V Phantom Power and it only works with Audio Interfaces like #M-Audio. It works on a Cardioid Polar Pattern which picks up audio, only from the front side. One important thing to be noted is that it is an XLR Mic that requires an XLR Cable which is not included in the box.

Audio Technica AT2020 : Build Quality

It is an All-Metal Mic that feels pretty sturdy and substantial. The Microphone stand is also fully made of metal which is a pretty good thing and it comes inside the box. Overall, we can say that it is a microphone with a good build quality if not the best.

The Audio Technica AT2020 is one of the best microphones in the budget when it comes to reproducing the high frequencies and that too without compromising the low frequencies and the overall quality of the sound. The high impedance (100 ohms) and Max SPL Values (144 dB) make it really hard to ignore the overall usability and versatility of this microphone.
